A kindly wheelchair-bound physician, Doctor Charles Taylor (Fernando Rey) is developing a serum able to repair scar tissue, but he has not been able to conduct a real test. He comes across a young girl with a horribly disfigured face. The effects of the serum are better than the scientist expected, and the girl is transformed to a thing of beauty again - Norma (Lisa Gaye). He presents her to some friends, exhibiting his success, and she befriends a handsome Playboy (Virgilio Teixeira). Unfortunately for Lisa, her restored beauty is not permanent. Unfortunately to Dr. Taylor, Norma happens to be an escaped mental patient from a local asylum, and she can't cope when the serum effects wears off, and her face returns to its hideous condition. Enraged at this setback, Norma goes to the laboratory armed with the shard of a broken bottle, screaming at the doctor, "I'll kill you!" The man can do little to defend himself but to drive the wheelchair back from her, and interposing some objects ...

Casimiro, night watchman at a wax museum of horrors, is even more sleepy than his usual laziness makes him - because his boss, the Professor, is secretly draining blood from him while he dozes to use in experiments in raising the dead. These haven`t worked so far, and the bodies have been waxened and placed on display in the museum to cover his crimes. His big chance seems to come, however, when he learns that the mummified body of a modern man has been found in an Egyptian sarcophagus. The professor and his two henchmen steal the body and take it back to his lab - where the experiment flops again. Or it seems to. While the villains are out of the lab, and Casimiro sleeps on duty, a bolt of lightning gives the electrical boost which the Professor`s machinery has needed, and the body comes back to life. Then the clouds part, the full moon shines through, and the resurrected one becomes a were- wolf.

The brilliant actor and comedian Enrique San Francisco undergoes a very particular trial during which he will have to account for his turbulent past and respond to the accusations and reproaches of friends and colleagues.
